Might need to bail on the Bash

Karens dad had a stroke Saturday night and has been in intensive care until last night. They moved him to a room and are doing more tests on him.  So far we dont have any definitive answers. Today he failed his swallowing test which means we can’t move him to rehab. We’ll need to find him a place to sleep but dont know where that will be yet. Karen is under a bit of stress of course. We both have been looking forward to this trip and still hope to go. I think ya’ll should know lest we get caught up in what ever and not show up. Please pray for her dad and the decisions we need to make and that we will get to.

Re: Might need to bail on the Bash

Thanks the prayers. The Drs and Nurses say  that Karens dad is recovering well and will be coming home soon. Karen and I will need to go to rehab to learn how to help him with some of his rehab. They will also come to do home care as well.
Have a great bash wish we were going. We are canceling our reservations but not sure about Springhill Suites at this time.
