Parts needed!

I am going to be trying to get my '67 Cougar back on the road, this January.

I'm in need of a front seat or two, the EFI wiring for a 5.0 HO (and injectors), a new distributor, and plug wires.  (engine fires suck)

Honestly, it doesn't have to be the stock 5.0 setup either, for that matter; I'm replacing *everything* on top of the engine pretty much, but I believe the intake that I've got is still okay, so it might save me a few dollars.

If no one has this stuff laying around that wants to get rid of it, I may be able to get it from a local salvage yard, but I thought I'd check with you guys first!

Also - not married to the idea of the lowback '67 seats.  If anyone has a different suggestion, I'd love to hear it.

Re: Parts needed!

What distributor you looking for??? I have a OEM ford off a 86ish 302

As far as seats go I'd think the foxbodies would fit fine.

Re: Parts needed!

If it's compatible with an '89 EFI computer, sure Terry!

Re: Parts needed!

I'm sure grateful for your help, guys.  I should note, this is an '89 5.0 HO motor.

I can't wait to get her on the road again.

Re: Parts needed!

Terry may have a distributor for me.  Anyone got the plumbing and wiring for an 89 5.0 HO?  My intake manifold itself is probably okay, but the rest of it is toast!

Re: Parts needed!

I have 65 mustang seats that you could make work unless you want stock. You could pull some from a new mustang or other car. Pretty easy to install them if you have the slides which you can always order

Re: Parts needed!

Don't have any 5.0 stuff, but do have cougar stuff.

Re: Parts needed!

I've managed to get a pair of thrashed '69 seats locally, with rails and all.

Next up, I've got to replace the headlight harness from firewall to the front, and the engine harness.  Do you have such a thing, Cougrnut?
