Had to put down my 2016 F-150

Got in an accident due to my own stupidity. Yesterday the little lizard classified it as totaled. Was really hopping they were going to fix it, only had 50,000 miles on it.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Really sorry to hear that, Walt.  Hope you, or anyone else, wasn't hurt.

Re: Had to put down my 2016 F-150

What would it have cost to be repaired?

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

Re: Had to put down my 2016 F-150

Bob, no one was hurt. Thanks for asking. The initial estimate I had seen online was about $7600 so I thought it would be fixed. When I talked to the adjuster he felt when they tore it down, they would find more damage. Even though only the driver air bag went off, he said they would have to replace all air bag sensors. The buyout would have been around $8000. I asked my buddy that works at the shop where we took it, he didn't think it would be worth it. He has my mustang up his house doing some tweaks it.
