    Wish I had left my original switch alone.

    It was second nature for me to cancel my turn signals manually.
    25+ years later, I screwed it up “fixing” the darn thing.

    It cancels now, occasionally I have a missing brake light.

    Should have left it alone.

    If you are needing a replacement turn signal switch for the 65, 66 then look up part number 13341-2A on the NPD website and read the reviews.  They claim the NPD Reproduction switch is the best repro available.

    1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

    I wouldn't doubt it.  I've yet to be unhappy with anything I've purchased from NPD.

    I do not have any info on this ‘fix’.  Like others who posted I’m living with a ‘sloppy’ switch that still works.
     

    65 Fastback, 351W, 5-speed, 4 wheel discs, 9" rear,  R&C Front End.

    I installed my NPD replacement turn signal switch in 2008 in my 66.  Still working.  Just FYI.
