I fell 12' of a ladder yesterday, Shattered my right foot, reconstruction in a coupla days.
If it had been the left foot, I might'a tried to persevere, and still drive.
I hope everyone has a great time. Bend an elbow to BB for me.

Sorry to hear about your "downfall" Barry. I hope that your surgery goes well and you are quickly back on the road (the road to recovery too). Those ladders are dangerous for us old timers. I used to scramble up and down them daily working on aircraft. Now I slowly make my way up and down.
"Hope you get well, like a bat outta Hell!"

Ugh. That's an electric bummer but it's good that you weren't hurt worse.
Best wishes for a full, uncomplicated and not-too-painful recovery.

It's weird that all the people my age are old.

Oh man!!! Very sorry to hear that mate. 😔
Take it easy, rest up and all the best with a speedy recovery.
Looks like it's just me heading up the Aussie contingency this year.

Steve,
I'm glad that at least one of us can make it .... I know you'll make us Ozzies proud!
I'm gunna spend some of what it would'a cost on a 4 post hoist, it might make me feel a bit better bout missing out.
Everyone take care, I plan on on catching up with everyone next year.

Barry sorry to hear about that, hope all goes well with your recovery. Brenda just found a little bell to ring when you need something.
Naaa, you don't need a head injury too. Tell Leonie hello and take it easy on her.

Thanx Walt, I remembered having a bell in the shed I was gunna suggest, but I recalled it had an extra large handle, ... so I never mentioned it.

Well Barry, I too am going to miss this years bash. Turns out I signed up for a precision rifle match on the same date.
