    Not gunna make 2026 Bash

    Had a few unplanned expenses this summer and now the water well went dry for a second time.

    Will probably end up with a new well before winter.

    Gotta love living off grid.

    Sorry to hear you can’t make it. It is noticed when a regular misses a bash!

    In the South the saying goes. "Lord willing and the creek don't rise". I guess up in the Yooper area it is "Lord willing and the well don't  dry?."

    Thanks guys.

    Well has very slow recovery as we have not had rain in a while.

    Pretty sure we will be fine as soon as fall arrives with rain.

    Planning on a rain harvesting setup for emergency backup and small garden use.

    Had light frost yesterday requiring additional defrost time.

    Trees have been changing colors so fall is almost here.

    Dan, I worked on water wells my entire 35 years as a plumber.  I tell people, I can replace the pump, I can replace the pipe but I cant replace the water!  Last thing I ever wanted to tell a customer was that their well went dry!  Since I retired, I have taken a seat on the Board of a local Rural water company where our main objective is to supply quality water to Rural homes where their wells are unfit or are dry.  I feel your pain as I have lived it for the past 38 years!!
