MS Cable clutch in a Fairlane

Ok, I have used two of MS's cable clutch kits one on a my 68, and one on a friends 66. My question is, I am looking at a 66 Fairlane and did not have time to pay close attention to the pedal hanger (automatic car), but has anyone used one of the cable kits on a Fairlane? I would like to convert it over to a 5-speed and add power brakes. When I did my 68, I got the whole set-up from Mustang Steve.

Re: MS Cable clutch in a Fairlane

Not sure about the 66 Fairlane, but here is a 65 Fairlane picture showing the heroic effort involved to install a quadrant atop the clutch pedal.  The cowl floor was so low, they had to cut a tunnel into the cowl.  It did work...  I do not know if 65 and 66 Fairlane are the same.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Re: MS Cable clutch in a Fairlane

I could not see the image, but I know the 66 body style is quite a bit different from the 65, and I know the 66-67 has a lot af attributes simular to my 68 Stang. I will dig a little deeper.

I am strongly considering this Fairlane, and know if i get it the first thing I will want to do is the five speed swap.
