Factory seatbelts in a '65 convertible?

Does anyone know if they were if they were stock items at the time or optional equipment? Were they colored to match the interior or were they just black.  Either way, does anyone have any pictures of factory belts for the year, specifically the buckles.

I bought my car in 1980 and there were no seatbelts in it.  It was a San Jose produced car.  As I am driving the car more now I ought to put some belts in it.  I have google searched before and never came up with any belts that were claimed to be factory style reproduction.

In 65 seat belts were optional.  In 66 they became standard.  I don't know about colors in 65, but in 66 they matched the interior.  Mine are black - '66.  '65 &'66 seat belts were the same.  I don't have photos of them now,   Maybe I can show you them tomorrow.  It is too late tonight.

Re: Factory seatbelts in a '65 convertible?

Here's a couple of pics of the '66 lapbelts/buckles - there's a stubby retractor for the fronts on the door side of the seats with a color matched cover, don't have a pic of that though.
