65 mustang convertible, 289 auto

New to MS and Forum, just thought I would say hey!  Just starting build on my retirement car and have visited with Steve and got several suggestions.  He mentioned a AOD trans vs the C4, does anyone have a list of what is needed to install or where would I look for a good read On how to do this?
List of upgrades coming:
Gt brakes all four, with booster
Borguson PS
Vintage air
Modified 289 with AFR heads etc.
Posi rear end with all new suspension and Shelby drop.
Trying to make a fun daily driver with an aggressive drive train.  Any helpful suggestions would be very much appreciated to try to eliminate any unnessisary mistakes.  Tried to get ahold of another member with brakes on swap but have to post 3 times first.  Usually not much for asking but from what I have read so far it would be a mistake not to ask so i will give up my pride and take all suggestions, so I'm asking and thanks in advance.
