The reproductions are a big joke. The part that needs to be stronger where the grille bolts on is alot thinner and not shaped right. I have kits to replace the broken top brackets and it does it better than the original design. If the corner is broken where the grille bolts on, it can be fixed but is alot of work.
There was a guy at the swap meet last weekend with a whole pile of them $20 each.

Not sure exactly what part he is talking about. I originally thought that he meant the stamped bucket that holds the sealed beam? Steve, maybe you could post a picture?

I may have one laying around. I'll look tomorrow. You can have it for the postage if you want it. That is the sheet metal one that holds the light bulb, not the pot metal thingy that is the outside part of the car - just looked it up in a catalogue - It's called a door

Is this the part the MS has a fix for cracked pieces? I have a crack in one of mine. I don't remember exactly where it is and it is able to stay in place but I would be curious to see MS's crack remedy. I could go take the eyebrow off and look, which I would do if MS posts a pic.

These are what I need. On mine several of the spots where the screws that go into them to hold the headlight door on are broken off.

Steve what kinda remedy do you have for these? I was thinking either new ones or use some pc epoxy or jb epoxy stick and build the lil parts up that broke over the years.
