Hey Guys,
I installed the GT2008-FT and GT2008-RSM kit on my 66 mustang. I know it says 17" wheels, but what exact wheels? I can't see to find any with around 4 inch of backspacing. I bought a spare of Bullitt wheels off a friend that came off his 2008 Mustang, but they have too much backspacing, they hit on the UCA. I can toss up a few picutures later today. I'm just wondering what exact wheels people went with. I don't mind rolling the fenders if I have to. I did do a search but didn't find any info on which wheels are used with these, without cutting them to go from 8 to 7 wide.
Thanks, Justin.

Our 66 has Cragar SS wheels 'cause my wife loves 'em and won't discuss it. I have a set of GT brake I want to put on the car but...gotta have the Cragar SS's. I called Newstalgia Wheel and it sounds like the composite 17" Chromed SS will fit. It has either 3 3/4 or 4 1/4 back space, they don't seem to know for sure.
Anyway, the 15's that we have only have 3 1/4 BS so anything more should be better up to 4" or so. I think I'm gonna see if I can order one wheel with return privileges and see what's what.
Of course, they are still only Cragar SS's and not very cool by todays standards.

Thanks Steve! Just what I was looking for.
