RTV at roof/window trim?

On my '65 fastback, there are two pieces of stainless trim the go on the underside of the roof to form the weatherstrip channel for the door glass. One piece, L shaped, gets a foam strip to prevent wind from whistling. The manual does not indicate anything for the flat piece. Should I run a bead?
Thank you!

Re: RTV at roof/window trim?

If you look at how it fits on there, it is not sealing anything from the interior, so it really doesn't need it.  But you know me... FILL IT FULL OF THE STUFF !!!

After all, you aren't planning on EVER taking that apart again, are you?  (famous last words I have regretted saying, many, many times)
