Sad day in March

My Dad passed away at the end of March, he was 80 years old and loved life and cars, he started my brother and I onto cars at very young age. I love the new site, it will take a bite to get used to and I think Sally will like it in time, change is hard.

Re: Sad day in March

Very sorry for your loss.  My dad was a car guy too. I can remember him helping me put a rebuilt 390 in my $100 dollar 66 Tbird in 1980 like it was yesterday. I was 15 and thought I knew everything.
Cherish your memories.

Re: Sad day in March

Sorry to hear that. My dad would have turned 80 tomorrow. He was partial to Chevys and looked at me in bewilderment as I fell for Mustangs.

Re: Sad day in March

Sorry to hear of your loss.   My dad would turn 107 in December if he was still around.  You are very fortunate yours was around through a big portion of your adult life.

Re: Sad day in March

Dave, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.  My Dad made to a bit past 90 and had a very good life.  We lost him two  years ago so I know  how you are feeling.   As others have said, cherish your fond memories.

Re: Sad day in March

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your dad, Dave. I am so thankful that my dad at 89 is still with us and going strong. I lost my mom in 2007 and my wife's parents are both gone. I do not look forward to when his time comes. I can understand what a hole in your life is created by the loss of a dad. Just think of the good times you two shared, and you will gain comfort from that.
