I need new drip rail chrome mine are scuffed and getting rusty. So anyone had good luck with some after market ones? Getting new ones would make my ride look 100 times better

From what I'm told, you'd be best off to buy a crusher Mustang with decent drip rail trim since the repop crap is, well...crap.

Okay I kinda figured. Do you think one could light sand and buff and polish them? It would be nicer with new ones oh well maybe I can find some decent used ones

If you have an OEM set that are just dinged and need to be cleaned up, there are guys that can work wonders restoring SS bright-work. Google it. Probably expensive but better than doing without or wasting $$ on china crap.
