anybody have any pictures to share of the area of the rear seat trap door mounting? Specifically, I am wondering where the door prop mounts. It seems as though my body man didn't relocate any holes for anything when they installed new floor and trunk pans. I think I see how the prop rod mounts, but exactly where it bolts in, I don't know. Also does it mount into caged nuts or just big sheet metal bolts? Thanks for anything

I have the same problem. I remember that the "nuts" were part of the sheet metal or welded to the sheet metal. They definitely were not through bolts.
As for location, I would get a helper and hold the trap door in the full open position and locate the prop rod bracket against the trunk floor sheet metal and mark the holes. Check to see that it operates open to close without issues in the same location. I believe it would be near the point where the gas sending unit wire goes through. That's how I think I will do it when I get around to it.
Pictures would be great though. Hopefully someone comes through to help us both out. Good luck!

Thanks alot. The pictures help. It is also nice to know where the fuel sender wire goes also. Do you know if the bolts go in a caged nut?
