Hi,
Going to install my Street Or Track front Coilover IFS kit and going with Shelby drop too, Randalls power R&P upfront. I am running Firestone Wide Oval Bias Ply tires, going with radial next but no money for it at the moment.
What are the alignment parameters for street driven car with the said bias ply? Most setup I could find was mostly for modern radials.
Thanks in advance Guys/Gals!

the radial tire specs will work just fine for your tires.

Good to hear that. Is there a reason behind that? Is it because it's a modern bias ply? Thanks for the response..

a lot of people assume that the modern performance specs are so different from the original OEM specs because of the change in tire technology. In fact I see it as a standard answer all the time and even believed it my self at one point, but it is not true. I read an interview with Klaus Arning talking about mustang suspension and it turns out Ford dialed back the optimum settings because the steering was to responsive. They felt at the time that less responsive handling would be safer by avoiding the human error of over correction and they were worried that a car that handled better would encourage people to drive faster. Ultimately they dumbed the car down to save drivers from themselves.

So are you implying that there are not too many difference performance wise between bias ply and radial tires? If that's the case I would be very happy to save my money and buy other stuff rather than buying radial tires for next purchase... My wide oval is 2010 tires with 90% thread left on it.

I didn't say that. Bias ply and radial will make the car handle differently. All I was saying is the same alignment specs will work for both and explaining why Ford's OEM specks are so bad.
