Did anyone watch Detroit Muscle today?

They removed all the sheet metal from a 67 coupe and replaced it with all new fastback sheet metal.
It only took 27 minutes including commercials. Some of you guys make sheet metal work so time consuming.

Re: Did anyone watch Detroit Muscle today?

Yeah, but that new sheetmetal looked good once they fitted it to the car. I wonder if the availability of the fastback conversion pieces will stop the skyrocketing prices of the 65-66 fastbacks?

Re: Did anyone watch Detroit Muscle today?

Do they duplicate all the interior trim and small parts to complete the transformation to fastback?

Subtract out the time for the commercials and I bet it only took about11 minutes...

Re: Did anyone watch Detroit Muscle today?

I would think the 05 in the VIN would help hold the value of a true fastback over a coupeback...

But can they change a set of spark plugs in 30 seconds?

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

But if they call it a  Restomod they can get more than a real restored fastback.

But getting more than a restored fastback is not diminishing the value of the fastback.
