Shroud project done. Pictures

Got the shroud installed today, the suction at the front of the condensor is impressive I used a Derale stainless high performance fan.

Re: Shroud project done. Pictures

Mounting it to the car would have been much easier if Fords design engineers had enough room ahead of the rad  support instead of behind.

The temps have always been in the 180, s , I wanted the shroud to increase the AC condensor efficiency.

Very nice Rudi. You got me thinking about mechanical instead of electrical.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

I went through three different electric fan set ups with questionable performance before I decided on the mechanical set up with a shroud.
All is good now!

I am so far from being expert to give any advice...but I'll throw in my 2 cents...Great looking shroud!guys I talked to in the AC/old car ac mod industry when I was ordering parts/ac system for my 66 coup told me a flex fan would not draw enough air through condenser to make system work properly and would probably burn up compressor do to excessivly high presures. I guess with the right shroud you can. Just passing on what I heard.

Re: Shroud project done. Pictures

Nice design.  You took a functional part and turned it into eye candy.  Way to go.
