I need to buy Sound Deadener/Thermal Insulation for my 69 Coupe. As I compare Eastwood Thermo-Coustic Sound deadener to Dynamat Xtreme it appears that Eastwood is compatible to Dynamat at $150 vs. $230 for virtually the same kit.
The only information I am missing is how many kits, sheets do I need to do my floor pans? Has someone already done this on their project that can tell me how much I need?
I don’t want to buy too much where I have $100 of left over sheets.
I am leaning towards the Eastwood Thermo Coustic Sound Deadener @ $150 per 9 sheets, each is 30” x 18” x .063 thick. 2 Kits are $130 each. Thanks

I used the large kit and 1/2 a small one on my 67 coupe to do most of the passenger compartment including the roof. Then went over it with the foil backed padded stuff tacked down with 3m super 77 and foil taped the joints.
Should be able to hear the stereo and all of the interior squeaks real good. I had a big roll of the padded material or I figure it would be about $600 worth of sound materials.

I used a thinner sounddeadener I bought off of Ebay and I used 100 square feet on my 66 coupe.
That was two layers on the entire roof, under dash, firewall floors and inside the doors. I ran out before I could do anything to the trunk.
It really isolated the wind a road noise from the floor. The wind noise from the windows is nore noticable now, and the drone from the exhaust was not hampered in the least. Hope you have better luck.
