A cool shout out to the old man for getting some free (?) advertising in the current issue.
Congrats Steve. Great product and word is spreading!
Best,

What issue?  I haven't seen that.  Is it online or what?

...something doesn't sound right there (???).  The adapter brackets; Mustang Steve's, mine/Glen's, Street or Track, Vintage Venom, etc. would be of no use on a modern 8.8" rear end. The factory SN95 GT or Cobra brackets or the S197 (depending on what discs were being used) would be a direct bolt-on. Any of our offerings are drilled for a Ford 8-inch or 9-inch rear end housing end flange pattern, which is not the same bolt pattern or placement location as a modern 8.8" rear.

Either they didn't get their facts straight or there's something I'm unaware of. Either way, at least MS got some free publicity out of them.

...if it's a case of they didn't get their facts straight, MS may soon be spending a lot of time emailing people back that the information published was incorrect and his brackets won't work on their late model 8.8" rear end housing.

maybe they put 9" style ends on the 8.8 to eliminate c-clips.  Then wouldnt the brackets be needed?

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

Or maybe they installed my front brake kit to complement the original 8.8" rear discs.  I am going to try and find a copy of the magazine...

Re: ModMustFords issue MustangSteve brakes noted on build

My issue just showed up today... they used the 9" ends to be able to use the brackets.
