Not tech but a wierd day

I had a good day last Friday, out cruising with the 05, top down till about 5 PM when we got home and I laid down on the sofa to have a rest. I laid there for a while and started to get the chills and a severe pain in the right side of my chest. It took my wife and son a couple of hours to convince me that a trip to the emerg. was in order.
Six hours later I was discharged the brand new state of the art facility in St. Catharines.
What I don't understand is after a great day in a matter of an hour I come down with pneumonia.
So no cigars for me for while, but feeling pretty good today after the antibiotics started to do their job.
Any one here get pneumonia shots for prevention? Might be a plan.

Re: Not tech but a wierd day

Me! I did.
With asthma and the old bad heart valve...the Doc recommended it. Won't prevent it...just makes it less tramatic.

Re: Not tech but a wierd day

That is unusual!  Hope you recover soon.  Pneumonia is a very serious ailment.
