I'm looking for a nice set of mufflers for a 67 with stock small block. I like the sound of flowmasters, but I'm open to any good deals. I'm not sure what's on the car now, but you can't hear it at all. I want a little bit of a rumble, but nothing too obnoxious.

I have a new pair of 2" Flowmaster 50s. I couldn't get them to fit my '66 because they are longer than 40s, and I wanted to run tailpipes over the axle.
I know others have made the work on '65-'66, but I couldn't do it myself, lying under the car. Your '67 may have more room.
Only problem would be shipping from 31523 (GA).
If interested, I can price them with shipping.

I have a pair of stainless steel 2-1/2" Gibsons I have no use for. (Offset inlet, center outlet)
They were too loud for my taste on my 66 with the 427 in it. Probably less noisy with smaller displacement. Will take $100 plus shipping. These were about $89 each new, I think. They have less than 500 miles on them.

Steve, do you happen to have a sound clip? I can't find any sbf sound clips with those mufflers. It appears to be popular amongst truck owners though.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
