Shop Manual

Is this the best shop manual  to buy?   Or is there something better?  Also see that some people are selling it in CD for a little cheaper.  Need something that has good info on window alignment, door and panel alignment, weatherstripping. Does it cover these topics?  Thanks Mike

Re: Shop Manual

That's the one I use. Between that one and this forum you can't go wrong

Re: Shop Manual

That's the one I have and would recommend, especially for window alignments, trim pieces.
Also recommend the wiring diagram, and interior, exterior manuals available through Mustang supply houses.
Of course it depends how much you're taking it apart.

Re: Shop Manual

Thanks guys,  I have all of the red wiring, interior and exterior books, I think by Osborne.  Wasn't sure how good the shop manuals were.  Guess I'll order one.   I think if someone would tear down a first gen Mustang and rebuild it and document every nut and bolt and step of the job with decent pics and info they could sell a ton of them. I know it would be a lot of work but someone could make some money, just sayin.  I know that I would buy one.  And while I'm complaining about the current literature, which was probably made with 60's technology (black and white and cheap looking drawings), I  bought that book on convertible tops and what a worthless piece of crap that is.  Wish someone would redo and update that with color pics or better yet a good CD showing every step of the job.  Alright, I'll quit ranting.
