Took the Fastback out for its Maiden Voyage.

She performed beautifully. Engine and Transmission are performing well together.

She decided to run out of gas in this exact spot. I forgot to put more than a couple of gallons in the tank during burn in time. Took an hour to get the smile off of my face.

Re: Took the Fastback out for its Maiden Voyage.

Thank you for the very kind words. I would not be this far along without the outstanding support and technical assistance of this whole forum.
Engine is 347 Stroker. Staying with the original exhaust manifolds which I still need to remove to paint and ceramic coat the insides.
AOD Transmission.Freshly rebuilt with a torque converter to match the engine and rear end specs.
9 inch rear end with Mustang Steve Cobra brakes on the back. 3.55 gears
Fatman Fab front end
Rocket Racing Wheels 17X7 with 4.5" backspacing.
Paint..... Well my paint guy is not telling me the paint number for some reason. I have asked a couple of times.

Unfortunately I just found out today that I am heading back to Afghanistan at the same time the Bash is going to happen. Unless something happens with our system which would delay my trip. I swear the bosses look at my vacation plans and set my overseas trips by them.
