06 Dodge Charger SRT8. He's happy, I'm happy, alot poorer though    trying to find some stock Challenger SRT 5 spoke black wheels to replace the ghetto wheels that are on it. $1000 outa California. Nadda on Craigs even doing a US search only bout 6 listings and all are a moth old or better. Anyone got any ideas? OEwheels LLC has some cheaper, but outa stock till mid Aug.

Re: Got a new hot rod for my Son...

You should have a drug-sniffing dog check that thing out before you let your son loose with it.  No telling what might "turn up".

Lots of nice Chrysler wheels show up on Dallas Craigslist, but not sure if they qualify for an SRT8 or if they would clear the big brakes.

Re: Got a new hot rod for my Son...

I rented out a 2013 charger v6 last year.  Drove is 1800 miles and I have to tell you it was a really nice ride and smooth.   If I was in the car market Id be looking at one of those for sure.   I got about 30mpg also.  Steve69

This one has the 6.1 ltr Hemi...not so good on milage, but the Kid sure likes driving it. Has a real nice sounding exhaust too.

I think thats good for now, ok, maybe paint the grill black...getting it aligned tomorrow...though the 24's looked ok far as tire wear. Got a few small things to fix...like horn don't work...feels like there is no button on steering wheel, and there is no harness to connect to the also missing windshield washer pump.
