Hello all, Robby13 here. The voltage regulator on the 68, 289 coupe has 4 connector prongs. The plug only has 3 receptors. On the 67 390 gt, there is 4 and 4. Any ideas? I guess it's always been that way, I only spotted it chasing a bad electrical issue. The ammeter is still all over the place and it starts sometimes. When it won't start, I jump the solenoid.

From what I've seen, the 4th wire is for the alternator light. If you have the ammeter, the "I" connection is not used. Does you're 67 have the Idiot light??

Yea it does, makes sense. Thanx!
