first start

Fired up the 67 for the first time today with the 5.0 and T5.started right up, set timeing and carb and brought up to temp. Cluch felt good new power brakes felt good , but only pulled it back and forth in the drive way. No break in due to being a used motor. Tryed to finish up the install of the Vintage A/C but ran into problems with the duct work. Instruction said use  2" for defrost and center vents 2.5" for outer vents but the outlets on the pletum of the A/C were to big for the 2" duct.

Re: first start

My vintage air used 2" for defrost and the four dash registers were 2-1/2", but that was on a 66.
The hose that comes with the kit looks way too short, but if you cut it to length per the directions, extended as far as it can go before cutting, it will fit perfectly.  Read instructions very carefully !
