Met another FYIFORD member face-to-face today!

Gary Patrick was in town from Denver and stopped by.  We went to the Waxahachie car show and looked around, then had lunch.

He was in need of a lower fender patch panel and I figured the bent up fender from my wreck in my 66 was just the thing.  We cut off the undamaged lower portion that he needed, and I got a garage point out of the deal.

It is great to know that my car's old parts were a perfect donor to help someone else's car become reality.  And got to meet a new friend in the process.  See you at the BASH, Gary!

Not to hijack, but I met GregB Friday and picked up a couple seat cores he gave me for the garage points.
Standing around talking about cars never gets old.

Starting to think "garage points " may hurt the economy

Re: Met another FYIFORD member face-to-face today!

Thanks again Steve for the tour and the trip to the car show.  I was happy to be a GPF (garage point facilitator).  I am wondering what happend today when the scanned my bags at the airport - they probably don't get too many fenders packed in suitcases.

Re: Met another FYIFORD member face-to-face today!

Lots of garage point activity going on.  Over the weekend I met  Josh K-Bob in Amarillo and gave him some Fox stuff I had on the shelf.  Then he gave me a pass door that he got from Corky and took a driver's door that has been delivered to MS right about now...or soon will be.  The trans stuff Josh brought from MS for  me don't count as I paid for it.

Lessee, I  gave Josh four Fox items and a 65 deck lid....+ 5 for me, -5 for Josh

Josh gave me a door...- 1 for me, + 1 for Josh

I gave MS a door... +1 for me and -1 for MS.

High math butt (TS & T) I think I came out ahead. LOL

Or, do we calculate Garage Points the other direction....?

Gary,

Next time we are in Parker visiting the grand kids I'll be giving you a holler.

Yup...only took  three weeks.  Or was it four?  Anyway, got it and drove it to Amarillo last weekend.  Drives  nice and  later this week I'll see how it pulls the travel trailer.

They sure do put a lot of do-dads on these new ones.
