The drawing belongs to Doug Bender aka 'Fairlaniac.'
He used to post here, years ago. He later designed a one-piece bracket but, decided against producing the adapter brackets for sale. He used to have this drawing on his website but, Doug took it off to reduce the chances of pirates using his design to profit off of his works.
CSRP produces a one-piece bracket to accomplish the same and they produce a spec rotor for this swap.

That's right I forgot about the csrp swap doing basically the same. I just thought I'd post some neat info ultra.

Spec rotor... Does that mean you can only get a new one from CSRP when you wear one out?

A spec rotor, that's what I want to be cornered into buying. Why reinvent the wheel?
"Doug took it off to reduce the chances of pirates using his design to profit off of his works."
A guy could probably retire young with all those profits. And why would someone post drawings with measurements and not expect another person to use them?
So the templates I've made over the years to match disc calipers to spindles are proprietary? The cardboard templates are easy to make, it's the fabrication that takes time. At least for the home builder diy'er.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
