I have an sn95 t5 that I want to put into my 67 mustang, but I'm not sure how well the 95 fits in relation to the shifter hole. Should I swap to the shorter input and bell housing of a fox body? I also have a t5 cross memember, but I know when I ordered it I didn't specify what yr. tranny I was using. Maybe because the more common is the fox body.
So does anyone have any experience with the fitment of an sn95?

IF your 67 has power steering, the lower location of the clutch release arm will interfere with the ram cylinder. At a minimum , consider swapping to 93 or earlier bell and input shaft. All the xmembers I sell or know of are designed for use with the earlier T5.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
