Looking for an original with casting numbers, etc.
Thank you

I have several used starters that I have removed from restoration projects over the years;but, I am not familiar with casting numbers. Where would I look?

On the nose of the starter (silver), there will be a stamp of C5 which stands for 65.
Thank you

I will look through my pile and see what I got. I know theres at least 3 or 4 starters down there.
Edit: I dug through and checked. I have 2 C3's, 1C7, 1D2, and two that are smaller and start with E. And one 6 cylinder starter. Sorry.

Sorry, didnt see this until a few minutes ago. I went down and got the numbers. They are both C30F-1131A. One is pretty dirty and needs a bendix, the other was pretty clean, however, picking it up I promptly dropped it right on its bolt ear breaking it.
You can have them both if you want them, just pay for shipping. I will take the garage point and half.
