I bought spring spacers to go on top of my front springs to raise the front end up. Will the front springs come out without taking either the ball joints loose or the UCA??
What I was hoping was I could pull the tires off, remove the shocks, drop the spring compressor in and pull the spring perch loose and pull the spring out and reverse to install??
Is this do able. I have to pull the strut rods and replace the rubbers in a week or so but didnt want to completly disassemble now!!

Just did this Terry..
I dropped the sway bar down and the front strut rods.......let the lower control arm drop waaay down. That way you don't hafta compress that darn sprang so much! Man I hate having that bomb squwozzed up so tight.
Wasn't tooo much extra work but made the install easier.

I've always done it without removing the spindle from the control arms. Never removed the spring perch either.

Thanks for your responses! Darren, the only reason i will pull the spring perch is the compressor I have replaces the shock and uses the perch as part of the compressor its ALOT safer than any other I have seen

you want to LIFT the car higher? If so, and if you have lowering springs installed in it currently, all you need to do is unbolt the sway bar, back the nuts off the upper control arms almost all the way, yank the shocks, pull the upper cntrol arm out until it stops against the bolts and the spring will fall right out....don't try this if they're long stock springs

Jeremy, yes I'm gonna LIFT the car. I performed the infamous shelby drop and now my tires are hitting the fenders and chewing the tires up and bent the inside lip of the front fender. I'm not gonna have that!!! It was fine with ME where it sat before the shelby drop and i'm just raising it back to that level. I do have the stock springs
