Mind the gap

1965 mustang with the single large GT brake fluid reservoir. Is there a grommet to fill the hole at the firewall? The one at the push rod is small and just covers the back of the MC.

Did you ever wonder why the MC pushrod had that raised ring around it about the midpoint?  That is a stop to hold the seal up against the back of the master cylinder.  You just need to get the seal shown in this picture.  CJPony has them, as should just about any other Mustang parts supplier.
