Yeah, he is doing things right! He taught me all I know about Mustangs. He is very meticulous and is very attentive to details. I have had to encourage him to look at some new ideas in his build and we have traded some thoughts on our cars. Nothing wrong with "old school" aproach, I am using some of his and he is using some of mine but our cars are still quite different! I could not have done my build without him, it has been a LOT of fun building our cars together, can wait til we can fire em up and go cruising, although I don't think he dare challenge me to a race! THANKS DAD!

More inspiring work Kristang! Do you know who makes that oilpan?

I am almost positive it is a CHAMP pan. That is what I used on my 393W as well. The motor in my Dad's car is a 347. That little bugger makes almost 500 hp on pump gas!

Thanks guys! He is actually doing all the work and I am spectating from 150 miles away! No offense to any of you but my Dad knows more about early Mustangs and Ford engines than anyone I have ever known! He only taught me some of what he knows because he wanted to be sure "Dad" will always know more than the "kid"!
He will be driving his car before mine has paint on it!

Looks Great Kristang! You might want to trim that Sway Bar Link some more. Looks like mine where it might hit on the lower Coilover Shock.

Took a look at the Champ pans and unless they've changed something I don't think it's a Champ. Moroso maybe?

McStang, I was mistaken. He bought the pan from Mustangs Plus. I guess I assumed it was Champ since I have purchased a few dirt track pans from them.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
