Honey Gold

Don't normally post pics like this - but couldn't resist.  Some pretty subtle mods here.

Re: Honey Gold

Sweet!

I like the rear bumper and license plate along with the exhaust and shaved door handles......and the color!

Re: Honey Gold

I like everything about it except maybe the Orange things on the wheels.

Re: Honey Gold

Are those seperate individual tri bars on the tail lights? Read about that in one of the early fastback models, but Ford said it would be too expensive to put into production. Supposedly, a few of the individual tail lights exist...

Re: Honey Gold

I like the split bumper, looks like the sail panel vent has had some work as well. where did you find this pic? Is there one of the front?

It's hard to type "funny"

Re: Honey Gold

Also notice the rocker panels go from wheel to wheel.  That looks really good.  Kind of the effect they were going for with the lower chrome trim on non-GT cars.  I always wondered what one would look like with that ribbed trim painted body color.

You mean like this?
I found this somewhere years ago.

'66 Fastback since July 27, 1981. Springtime Yellow, originally a 200 cu in, 4 speed. Also a '92 LX Coupe, 5.0, 5 speed.

Re: Honey Gold

Note that 69 GT flip-open style gas cap in that picture.  Man, I sure am glad they went with the taillights they went with instead of those 6 doorstops lined up across the back of the car.

Re: Honey Gold

I love everything about this car except the steering wheel center cap.   Pretty cheesy, I think.   Takes away from the rest of the interior.
