As the subject states looking for a source for rocker molding. I picked up some nice pieces from a private party about 2 years ago, but I'm looking toward the future if some of the mounting posts snap off like the current pieces. Does anyone make it aftermarket, because if they do I havent seen it in any catalog or internet post. Everyone offers the chrome trim that goes on top of the molding but not the actual pieces themselves. Any ideas tips or hints in regards to these pieces?

Just remember there were 2 different ones of those. They attach in different ways. One uses Screws under 2 of the letters and the other uses the push clips I believe. Just sayin make sure you get the ones like you have, if you're getting a backup set.

Thanks for the advice about the mach 1 section, I'll have to see if mine is the one where the letters come off or not. My car is a big time project and I'm just skeptical that the pieces I picked up are going to hold up for long after they are installed.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
