Hi all,
My clutch cable from mustang steve got caught on a header and burned up. i went to dallas mustang and got a 2000 mustang gt adjustable clutch cable to replace it(in a hurry to change it to get it on a trailer) . the pedal side nipple looks alot bigger than steve's . is this a problem..do i need to buy it from steve ? thanks guys

You have to remove the big black rubber bushing, and grind the 4 tabs on the nylon guide smooth wiht the outside of the body. I'm assuming being a '67 you have the adjustable mount at the firewall?

Yes is the one with the adjustable mount on the firewall. Thanks for the tips. The end of the cable just looked a little bit bigger where it goes into the pedastal and was worried.

The ford racing e302 cable is same I use. I have replacements available, or the ford racing version works great. Jusr remove that rubber grommet as TKOPerformance stated.
