I need a measurement from between the front frame rail and the pinch weld of the rocker panel on ah 65-66 where a torque box would go....

For a convertible or a fastback/coupe?

If I am measuring what I think you need, mine averages out to be 11" - keep in mind that this is after having replaced the inner rockers on my sagging convertible. I measured from the frame rails to the flange where the inner rocker plate would be on a coupe. If this isn't what you need, post a pic of the measurement that you need. Car's up on a rotisserie so I can reach any dimension easily.

Thats perfect. Now If ah couple more people will check for me I can figure out an average? Mine seems to be smaller for some reason 10-3/4"..

I get 11-1/8" on both sides of my 66 fastback. Measured from INSIDE the rocker flange to outside edge of the floor beam.

On my driver's side I have 10-15/16" and on the passenger side I have 11-1/16". You are in the ballpark. When I had the floor and torque boxes out, I could vary the dimension by over 1/4" just pulling and pushing on the front of the rocker. I found a drawing that showed the total distance side to side and set mine to that dimension (I think it was inner rocker to inner rocker) and then moved everything to have the same distance between rocker and frame on each side. Without a full jig it was the best I could do - and I'm too far into it to change it anyway!

I can email a larger copy if you think it will help.
