Another ebay treasure for someone.

I always thought hthe idea of an all wheel drive Mustang would be cool for track racing or drag racing. It would need to be factory stance or lower. Never really thought of a Mustang as a mud bogger.  This ebay link brought it all back to the surface. More pics of the front suspension would be nice.

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

this one isn't as bad as a lot of messes that people have made!  I'd like to have it and put it back to "normal"  looks like a nice car other than the ride height is a bit high!

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

I'll have to say this one is done with ah lot more thought then most where they just slap ah body on top of ah truck frame. They used the original unibody of the car and just retro fitted what looks like old bronco front swing arms + brackets for the front axle. Then just ah simple crossmember for the transfer case. Kidda reminds me of the cherry 2000 car....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQuHn0TwLRg

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

Ah geeze - I'm all for modding my Mustang, as long as the mods make sense - butt (TS&T)........... a Mustang is not a truck, and only a truck would need a suspension like that. Why waste a nice FB on a mod like that? Why not a Toyota, etc?

(BTW - since I wasn't at the particular bash where this obviously started - could someone enlighten me on exactly what "butt - (TS&T)" means?) thx

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

Think of it this way...  If they had NOT installed all the 4x4 crap on that thing and just took the BODY and put it on ebay, it would be getting bids way over the $8,600 it has right now.

To each their own, and I now have another picture for my STUPIDLY MODIFIED MUSTANGS collection.

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

That consol looks like it was carver from a railroad tie. Terrible waste of a decent looking mustang body, and wood.

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

I'm simply of the believe that cars go down and trucks go up.  Redneck ingenuity is a double edged sword apparently...

It's easier to add horsepower than it is to lose weight.

Re: Another ebay treasure for someone.

I immigrated from Pa over forty years ago and since that time I've seen a jacked up 4 wheel drive Cadillac hearse, a house boat made from a camper trailer and 55 gallon drums just to name a few. Redneck engineering never ceases to amaze me.

Thank you gentlemen for that enlightening explanation of the meaning of life............. or  butt (TS&T). Perhaps I can use it in "Cards against Humanity".
