I there a way to remove a front disc brake wheel stud from a 67 rotor without removing rotor from car?

Re: front wheel stud

You MIGHT be able to remove it, but you sure won't be able to get another one in there.

Simply unbolt the caliper where it bolts to the mount (2 bolts).  Slide the caliper up.  You will not have to bleed the brakes unless someone pushes the pedal while you have the caliper off.  Once the calipers is up and out of the way, the rotor is simple to remove so you can properly work on it.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
