fuel line size for mild 302

1966 that originally had a six cylinder.  Fuel line is 5/16th in size.  Would  a mild 302 need a larger size?

Re: fuel line size for mild 302

5/16 was probably plenty for the old 6 cyl, and you may get by with it on a very mild 302. If it was mine I would upgrade to 3/8 fuel line as that is the standard supply line size on just about every vehicle for 6 cyl and v8's for the last 30+ years.

Also makes a difference if fuel injected or carb'd. If injected I would definately go 3/8. If carbed and you don't drive it like you stole it then maybe 5/16 will be fine.
