So, in my earlier post, I was wrong. The ridler 695 wheels relief in the back tapers down to 16",so that the wheel is larger in the front to give a larger lookand clearance and the mounting flange. Whereas American torque thrustm have the relief in the front part of the wheel and get largernear the back. The question that I have, is there going to be and clearance/interference issues with the caliper on the back part of the wheel? 67 Cougar pbr calipers, 04 cobra brakes,Ms kit, maverick spindles

Anyone have any suggestions etc.?

Well, once you get past the caliper, the brake parts get smaller, not larger, so there should be ample clearance as long as the wheel is 17" and has enough clearance behind the spokes to clear the caliper.

I measured with a tape like you said, and there is more Than 12" at the mounting flange spokes, like the torque thrust m...I think that there is the same space as an 18" torque thrust m at the mounting flange, due to the relief step...I just had it backwards. So the back couple of inches step down to 16" on the ridler, but there is plenty of room in front of the step. So this may make you wiggle on until youclear the step in back, or you may have to do nothing. I will try to assemble my brakes and spindles, since I still have Granada brakes on thecar. And, check interferences, once I receive the rims. If anyone has any measurements regarding brake and caliper dimensions and depths, that will be greatly helpful.thanks!

If you have the COBRA brake parts AND you have a wheel, just slide a loaded caliper onto the rotor and then place that assembly in the wheel. Then you can tell if it clears before you bolt anything on the car.
