Killer stuff.  Two things that stood out:
2.20:1 super strong roller rockers that are adjusted by using different lash caps on the valves.
3 bolts per header flange.  Now THAT is a good idea, but they don't have shock towers to deal with.

Should make a very interesting engine!

Yeah that's nice but it's still a push rod engine.
With the 2.2-1 rockers radically short fulcrum I wonder if  cam and push rod failure might be an issue.

Re: It's NOT FoMoCo butt very nice stuff, if ya got the bux!.....

Its an interesting idea, but his goals are totally unrealistic.  358 cubic inches isn't going to make anywhere near 850HP NA in any kind of remotely streetable package.  He seems to be missing a couple major points.  One, these engines spin north of 9,000 RPM.  That's the only way you are going to make over 2HP/cubic inch.  Two, the teams that run these engines have a basically unlimited budget, so if it breaks, you might lose a race, but its not a big deal.  They have dozens of spare everything.  Three, the teams that are making 850HP with these engines at 9,000RPM aren't going to tell you how they're doing it.  Its called competitive advantage.  Things like camshaft specs are more closely guarded than nuclear launch codes.  Four, the guys that build and tune these engines have decades of experience with cutting edge racing engines.  Just because you built a couple small blocks over the years, and because you can buy the parts doesn't mean you're going to turn out a combination anywhere near what these guys are churning out.

In the end, this misguided attempt to put a racing engine on the street is going to end where they all do: disappointment.  Likely the project will never even get finished and he'll end up selling off the parts for pennies on the dollar to the next misguided soul who's convinced he can succeed where everyone else who'd tried it failed.

If you really want big power on the street you've got three options.  If it must be NA then you need a really big motor, something like a 632, to which making 850HP won't be all that hard.  If you can abandon the NA idea your best bet is turbos.  There are quite a few 1,000HP twin turbo small blocks out there that are perfectly streetable.  Or, you go the chemical route and build a stout bottom end that'll take a couple kits worth of nitrous.  Street tracers have been doing it for years.  I've seen guys plumb 300+HP worth underneath intakes so it can't be seen.

Ohhhhhhh butt don't you know he'll be the "king-of-the-drive-in" with an engine that shakes the ground and idles like a Pro Mod!

And not enough torque to pull a fat baby off the toilet.

The raised camshaft and shorter pushrods keep that from being a problem......I guess?!?

Re: It's NOT FoMoCo butt very nice stuff, if ya got the bux!.....

The cam drive pictured is one that we produce at the company I work for. The valves probably are ours too if it's from Hendrick or ECR. Gets expensive to adjust the valves at $18 per lash cap though. These cup engines really don't idle all that bad. Just don't have any power til way up in rpm's.
