69 to 65 disk brake swap

will the disk brake set up from a 69 6 cylinder swap to my 65 fast back

Yes it will bolt up but you will need a pair of TRB-6567 tie rod adapters, assuming the 69 brakes are original 69 model year.

The ackerman angle will be off a little, so geometry is not optimum for a 65/66 car.  Effect will be bumpsteer and wheels not tracking parallel on corners.

I would advise swapping all front steering parts to 65 V8 linkage for better steering and less bumpsteer.  It will not remove it completely, but it will make it where it is not scary to drive like it will be with the 6 cylinder linkage.  If you swap to V8 linkage, use 67-69 outer tie rods and you will not need the adapter bushings..

You also must use a disc brake master cylinder and a proportioning valve.
