Re: emblem location for 66 coupes...

I bought one of those templates to put the GT lettering and stripes on.  Total waste of money.  The MUSTANG letters came out all crooked and I know the holes were drilled accurately.  Had to redo the whole mess.

The 289 and GT emblem came out OK, though.  Did you go with new fenders or something?  So they don't have the holes?

I have some original fenders I can make some rubbings and mail them to you if needed.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Re: emblem location for 66 coupes...

Nope..............just when I had it painted this time.......body guy filled the holes. I welded the holes where the "scallop thingies" went on the rear quarters. He sanded those down flush and filled and sanded the "other holes" too!
I would have thought there would be some measurements posted somewhere butt-know joy,so fer.

If it ain't too much trouble. I DID find some measurements but if you could measure the positions from the rear part of the fender and down from the beltline I should be able to figure it out.
Tankx MS!
