I've been planning driving the 2+2 to Dallas and Texas Dream Cruise.
Friday night during a test drive, at stop lights, the engine would start a surge and shut off.
Engine is surging at idle, battery drained dead that night.
Guages are flaky, I pulled inst cluster and steering wheel, took all day saturday for the Optima yellow top to recharge. Saturday night the only thing I achieved was frustration. Sunday was only frustration no fun when working on my car, rest of the day riding around in a 428 1967 GT 500 Sheby clone.
back at my house puzzling at the wiring harness, I'd bumb the turn indicator arm and set off the turn indicators. To the point I finally had running lights on and blinking with the turn indicators.Monday afternoon battery dead again& accepting no charge. I figure its time to fold this circus tent.
MS asked if I had done anything with steering column wiring, well yes I actually had.MS then said sumpthin bout 6S6 syndrrome. Steerding column wiring, turn indicator-horn wiring.
Cowardly Chicken mobile, fraid of a little ole USPS box on a stick.
I have decided to drivethe less fearsome 73 Vert. See ya Saturday.
