My Ford brake line was tougher than my GM Performance Parts line wrench...

Yeah, but isn't that about par for the course for "GM Performance"?

Quick, wipe the GM dust off your Ford............

Thanks guys... I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who thought this was funny.
I thought that there would be some kind of warranty on that "GM Performance Parts" wrench...nope.
I bought a Craftsman line wrench to replace it. You can tell just by the weight that the Craftsman is much more solid.
I usually buy Craftsman anyway, but I bought these as a set of 3 line wrenches on a whim one day because I needed a line wrench and that was the brand the parts house sold (don't remember if it was O'reilly's, Autozone, Advance Auto, etc)... and I was already there... never again.

MustangSteve's Rule of Tools
Buying a cheap tool only functions to increase the cost of the good tool by what you paid for the cheap one.

Every danged one of us that's ever wrenched would agree with all of you! Well said, Steves and Hoss!
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
