    Will wonders never cease?

    Went to the local car show today and they gave us a trophy....Best of Mustangs.  And, there were a couple of other pretty nice Mustangs there.  Whoda thunk it?

    And...the judges wern't even local folks.

    Me thinketh you're being too humble.............you done did plenty of nice work on that coupe so, today's trophy was deserved recognition.........

    Thanks Joe.  Jean looked at a lot of turq. and came up with that one.  It's called Nasau Turq. and we've had a number of folks comment that it works really well on the coupe body.  I wasn't crazy about it until I started getting the stainless and other bright work on.  Then it grew on me.

    Hey BB,

    Way to go.  Pretty smart of you to host and not have to drive a couple thousand miles.  Of course you miss the scenic beauty and fun of a road trip.  On second thought, sorry you're missing the road trip and  having to do all that hard work as a Host.

    It's one of the nicest coupes I've seen and it's owner's are a couple of the nicest car people I've ever met.

    Thank you all very much for the nice comments. I guess I'm just a bit surprised since it's a "plain-jane" coupe.   Al, I'm having a good time getting ready for the bash and it's a great incentive to clean up the shop.  So don't worry 'bout me.  I am jealous, though, to to not get the road trip you all are planning...can't think of a better way to spend a couple of days...you're gonna have a ball.  Take lots of pix but, hopefully, none of feet sticking out from under cars.

    With as much as you've (I'm sure you had some assistance from significant others also)  done, Ya'll deserve it 'cuz it's a beautiful ride and a coupe the best body style, had to be they made more of them.

    I made enough money to buy Miami, but pissed it away so fast

    No wonders here .... I'm not surprised that a car BB built gets the recognition it deserves.

    Its gonna feel lost travelling 0 miles to the Bash though.
