Needed to change master cylinder on 2008 Ford Edge. Bought a new one, not rebuilt. When I added some fluid to get ready for bench bleeding, brake fluid started to leak out the side holes. Is the normal. Don't remember this ever happening.

I know when I did my Master cylinder it put the bleeder plugs in on the side and put the hoses up to the top of master cylinder. So none leaked out.
