Several of you who were at the Bash

know of a call I received while I was in Colorado concerning my dog.  well yesterday I lost my last shop dog to Cancer.  Seems that he had bone cancer in his rear leg causing him to not be able to walk.
Anyway most of you know how hard it is to lose a pet.
Buddy was a very smart and loving dog and graced me with his company for 13 years

Re: Several of you who were at the Bash

One will never replace the other, but get some kitty love from Baxter. He'll help sooth the ache.

We had to put our greyhound down six years ago and I still can't look at a fawn colored greyhound without tearing up. Sorry for your loss.

Terry, sorry to hear about your loss.  Pets are family members.  Heres to hoping you can get to where you can smile and remember your 13 wonderful years together.

Re: Several of you who were at the Bash

So sorry to hear of your loss. My wife and I are devoting our summer to our lab Toby helping him recover from surgery. Each time I've lost a pet I've said no more then turn right around and rescue another one. You can never replace the one you lost but I've learned from experience that it helps deal with the loss and at the same time making life better for a deserving animal.

My condolences to you and your family on the recent loss of your shop dog "Buddy". We have three ourselves and can't even imagine what a tough time you must be going through. I am sure you gave him a great life and that is to be commended. RIP Buddy.
